This is an informative site for Southern Africa Chinese Sports Association (SACSA) Members and the Chinese community in general.

The annual Easter Tournament Games started in 1960 as a means to foster closer relations between the Chinese in the country, through participation in sports. With regional teams competing in a variety of seven different sports which is hosted in various centers such as Cape Town, Johannesburg, Port Elizabeth and Pretoria. With its popularity over the years we have international teams participating too.

"…SACSA was formed in 1969 to promote amateur sports among Chinese and to standardize the rules governing the various sports… Sport more than any other activity is the means by which the community becomes more closely knit, locally and nationally. Not only does it allow young people to socialize in their own towns, but it enables them to extend their circle of friends to Chinese throughout the country…"

In-Cha the Violin Superstar

Come witness In-Cha
the Violin Superstar

From the moment that she can remember " Art " has always played a role in shaping In-Cha. But it is the art of music which has the most impact on who she is and what she stands for.

In-Cha started playing the piano at the age of 4, but fell in love with the violin after going to a concert with her Mom at the age of 6. This resulted with her Mom securing private tuition lessons for her with the renowned Professor Vincenzo Lo Castro.

Not easy to impress, he instantly recognised her talent and potential as a violin soloist and thus In-Cha's career in music began in earnest.

Committed and practising a minimum of three hours everyday In-Cha's career as a classical violin soloist boasts a number of achievements.
